Announcent Time

Hey All!

So…I find that we have not been consistent in our postings. I blame my human. It’s not my fault I don’t have thumbs. ANYWAY… we’ve actually been wanting to post this subject for a while, but had to wait for things to be final…

…..

(Let the suspense settle in…)

Wait for it…

Wait for it…

(Human, move it along!)

My Human has just purchased a business!

We are terribly excited! Mostly because I get to go manage the place and launch my own personal line of Particular Puppy things in her boutique.

So, let’s tell you a little bit about our place:

Liquid Canvas is located on our towns historic 25th Street. This is our happening area of town: super cute farmer’s markets, festivals, art walks etc. It’s also tremendously dog centric so there are always furry pals to meet.

At Liquid Canvas we offer wine education while painting in a public class or as a private party. This is all done under the instruction of one of our many talented artists! Our artists paint along with you and offer help during the whole process. We LOVE to watch our customers paint for the first time and come away loving their masterpiece, with plans to come back again!

We host all kinds of private parties, as well as super fun offsite events.  (All of which, yours truly, can be requested to attend.)

Our darling boutique is ever evolving and will soon be carrying canine couture. Yes, we are also placing “Particular Puppy” items in stores for the first time ever!

Come in, sniff around, beg for trea….oh wait that’s just me.

Come in, look around, and hang with furry creatures while you wine and paint!!

Adventures in Walking

Guys, Guys, Guys! My human’s interest in local small businesses has finally paid off for me. Please allow me to tell you about the greatest thing in our lives to date…a dog walker/ pet sitter!
He's also a great photographer!

Eek! Exciting I know.

So initially mom heard about this business starting out on a local women’s Facebook group.  Naturally my human wanted to feature them on our blog and get a feel for their business.  They did the whole meet and greet, and hung out on our back deck while my human learned all about their fascinating journey that brought them to this point in their lives.

We were just going to do a write up about them until my human found herself away for longer hours than she’d like. (Enter our awesome new friends that come take care of us while the humans are away.) We couldn’t be more thrilled by their service. We get to see a friend mid-day, run around, do our business in the yard, and go for walks! All because the human feels guilty for being gone so much. That’s what’s called a win my friends!

Play time
Tina and Brad left the ever demanding corporate ladder and sold 80% of their belongings to take their life and their animals on the road in search of the perfect next chapter to their lives. Thankfully for us, they settled in Ogden, Utah and began work on a pet sitting business.  So basically they are some of the coolest adventurers we’ve ever met, AND they come hang out with us when we need some extra love!

The walking crew

If you’re in our area, we highly recommend them!

Check them out on Facebook at Active Paws Pet Sitting

We certainly hope that our humans pick up more hours so we get more quality time with our new favorite humans!

My Day Job

I recently asked my humans how long it’s been since we posted and they couldn’t remember, which means it’s been WAY too long!

It’s been a while since I’ve gone to work, making me realize that I haven’t told you about “work”. Many of you may be familiar with ESA animals (aka emotional support animals). That may be a whole other post. Anyway, I have been working towards being a therapy dog in addition to my girl human’s ESA dog.

Fast forward to me in an unlikely place…a dental office. This is where my grandpaw and man human have asked me to come and help patients with them on the reg. I kinda thought humans were supposed to “bring home the bacon”, but it appears I’m much better at it than them. #obvi.

I am very good at sitting with frightened children. I show them how I brush my teeth, and let the dentist look at them too!

My Office Chair
Many patients have started requesting my attendance during their appointments. (I'm not suprised.)

I typically sit in Grandpaw’s office until I’m needed. I’m not gonna lie, It’s not a bad gig.

Where would you like a therapy dog present in your life, doctor, dentist, etc.…? Let us know!
